The Berkeley Street Meals program provides a warm meal to their under-employed guests during the second and last Saturdays of every month. On August 27th, AACO volunteers donated their time and effort to prepare and serve 200+ servings of Sante Fe Chicken.
This unique opportunity allows our volunteers to participate in the preparation and cooking of the meal, sample the food we've prepared, and to serve the food to our guests!
After cleanup, volunteers joined together for dinner at nearby "Berkeley Thai House"!
