As usual, volunteers enjoyed this event, preparing and serving a warm meal to the homeless and temporarily disadvantaged. Unfortunately, we had to work thru our normal "4 pm" break this time. (We usually get a 1/2 hour break at 4 pm while the food is cooking in the oven...but that didn't happen this time as we were running late and had to continue preparing bread and salad.) By the end of the day, everyone was fairly tired. Still, much of the group stayed and enjoyed a nice dinner at the Berkeley Thai House after!
