AACO volunteers had a great time helping out the Animals Asia Foundation on August 5th in Chinatown's Portsmouth Square. Our volunteers reached out to the community and gathered signatures against bear farming on a gigantic 18' x 9' banner! Weather challenges made us into modern day McGuyvers as we staked down the banner with ballpoint pens. Thanks to Herb, the banner signing survived the foggy mist as he commandeered napkins from an unknown source! Kids of all ages as well as their grandparents signed on to the banner and we all had a great time!
