The Berkeley Street Meals program provides a warm meal to their under-employed guests during the second and last Saturdays of every month.
On February 10th, 18 AACO volunteers donated their time and effort -- initially it almost felt like there were too many volunteers, but at the end of the evening during clean-up we were glad to have the extra volunteers! We served 110 meals that evening. We finished at 6:30pm and 10 of the volunteers went out for dinner afterwards.
