The list below contains contact information for numerous independent Asian community service organizations, including contact info and short descriptions of each.  We invite you to contact any for which you hold a particular interest, in the hopes that both you and the community will benefit!

  • AA Rising - The Entertainment Resource for Asian Americans.

  • Asian-Nation - Providing Asian American and non-Asian communities with fun, provocative, and useful information about the Asian American community, concisely but comprehensively.

  • Asian American Arts Foundation - Northern California non-profit organization assisting the Asian Pacific arts community.

  • Asian American Association - nationwide organization providing numerous community service programs and benefits and services to over one million members

  • Asian American Association of UC Berkeley (AAA) - AAA is a UC Berkeley student organization which seeks to develop proactive, community-oriented leaders through a social, educational awareness, and service network.  AAA enhances the quality of life at Berkeley through its focus on diversity appreciation.

  • Asian American Cancer Support Network - provides an educational, supportive, and diverse network of resources for those in the Bay Area affected by cancer, in particular Asian Americans.

  • Asian American Economic Development Enterprises, Inc. - devoted to helping Asian Americans grow economically in Southern California. Business consultation and workshops, job fairs and internships.

  • Asian American Manufacturing Association(AAMA) - promotes the growth and success of U.S. technology manufacturing and related enterprises throughout the Pacific Rim

  • Asian American Writers' Workshop (AAWW) - dedicated to the creation, publication and distribution of Asian American literature.

  • Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute (APAWLI) - national, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching leadership skills for Asian American and Pacific Island women leaders.

  • Asian Pacific Fund - federation of agencies, businesses, and community leaders brought together to provide funds through workplace giving.

  • Asian Professional Extension, Inc. (APEX) - founded to meet the needs of socially and economically disadvantaged Asian American youths.

  • Asian Youth Services Committee (AYSC) - dedicated to bringing together Asian Youth in the East Bay, to share culture, problems, and solutions.

  • BayAsians - a social organization dedicated to serving Asians in the Bay Area with a variety of social, cultural, athletic, and community activities to attain both personal and professional growth.

  • Center for Asian American Media - promoting a pluralistic society through the funding, broadcast, exhibition and distribution of Asian American media arts.

  • Committee of 100 - providing a forum for those issues that Americans of Chinese and Asian descent face in bettering their lives in the United States.

  • Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership - promoting APA interests, educating members on policy issues, and serving the APA community.

  • Maitri - confidential, nonprofit organization that helps South Asian women facing domestic violence, emotional abuse or family conflict.

  • Media Action Network for Asian Americans (MANAA) - MANNA's mission is to create an environment free of racism through the accurate, balanced, and sensitive Asian American images.

  • National Asian Pacific American Bar Association - association of attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students promoting APA political leadership and equal opportunity in education and the workplace.

  • National Association of Asian American Professionals - a national organization where professionals of varying Asian descent work together across the country.  Serve to educate members through professional development and to raise Asian American awareness in corporate America and ensure that Asian Americans are included in diversity programs.

  • Narika - assists needs of abused South Asian women by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive model; serving women of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and diasporic communities such as Fiji and the Caribbean.

  • Nikkei Student Union - UCLA.

  • Pacific Islanders' Cultural Association - non-profit organization working to develop and perpetuate through education the histories, cultures, traditional and contemporary folk arts of Pacific Islanders.
