Sports Day for Charity For the 15th consecutive year, Asian Americans for Community Outreach (AACO) will be holding its annual Sports Day for Charity event! This is always AACO's biggest and most popular event each year, with over 350 participants, and proceeds going to local charities! Last year, AACO's fundraising efforts resulted in $6000 in donations to two Bay Area charities. This year the
proceeds from the event will be donated to Asian Health Services and
East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring. Badminton, Volleyball and Tennis! Sports Day for
Charity consists of a badminton, volleyball, and tennis. For
more details on the individual sports, click the appropriate link above. Food, T-shirts, and more! AACO fills the day
with extras beyond just a day filled with competition and friendship. Each
registered participant also receives an official event t-shirt as well as
lunch and a team photo. Prizes are also awarded to tournament
winners. Volunteer With Us Too! There are also plenty
of other opportunities to get involved with the Sports Day for Charity
besides competing! Volunteers can also help out during the day
by helping with jobs such as field setup, food distribution, and umpiring.
If you would like to volunteer please e-mail
us and indicate any preferences you may have (which event date, morning vs. afternoon shift, field setup, food
distribution, umpiring, cleanup, photography, ). Sponsoring and Advertising Would your company
like to be part of the excitement while promoting its business? AACO is
actively seeking corporate sponsorship and/or advertising for Sports Day for
Charity to increase the amount of money we can donate to the designated
charities. Donations of goods or services are also welcomed. If you think

information. Register Today! Sports Day for Charity is a popular event with a high rate of returning participants each year. Spaces are limited as we can only accommodate so many participants in each sport, so register early! Late registrants must pay a late registration fee and are also not guaranteed an official Sports Day for Charity event t-shirt depending on availability. |
