Exhale is seeking volunteers for our national, multilingual, free, confidential, totally unique and well-respected after-abortion talkline. We have a limited number of spots open -- don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable counseling experience and provide a vital service to communities across the nation. Bilingual volunteers are particularly needed, especially in Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. Participants must be able to attend training sessions in downtown Oakland, and available to volunteer for 10 months after training ends. When a woman has an abortion and she's feeling alone, Exhale counselors are there to listen. Our volunteer peer counselors create a truly nonjudgmental space for women and men to speak freely, openly, and honestly about their personal experience with abortion. |
